i think you have to have an experience and learn from it and always try to evolve and grow,i think being generally wise is a side effect of living ,not necessarily a busy life but an engaging one at least,and although we can certainly learn from others peoples experiences some things you have to experience for yourself,make your own mistakes or i don't think you'd be a living a life in your own control because everyone else's perspective of any lesson you learn in life will be varied.
