    They don't stop until they lose everything. You have a chance to distance yourself early, but few take the shortcut and learn from others. Most have to follow the plane to the ground and it hurts even more.

    As you're beginning to realize, addicts are deceitful and totally self-absorbed. They lie, too.

    I used to be patient, but after some really stupid behavior, including the death of one of them, I have decided that I will not have anything to do with addicts except on the lightest circumstances.

    they will only stop when THEY are ready and many times that may be never...
    find a safe place for your heart and take care
