To the lovely folks of old, did you know that your age is over?
Shock over the end of an age, new paradigms coming down, as expected, many drastic changes goin' on, as there is now a direct line of communication between the very center of the milky way, and her outer edges, the event horizon.
Some opposition from the powers that were. Pay them no mind, this is YOUR future now. The much more effective one, a system of self governance known as a big society coalition, all votes considered. It is a suggestion box, and that alone. No suggestions rejected, all ideas considered, decisions to be made by all inhabitants, universally.
Welcome to the future, a future decided collectively, no longer by the elites.
wakey wakey sleepy heads. We're home! What do you want done with it?

I remember saying something like that in the 1960's and again in the 70's. When I was 17. I wore a leather coat with a chain and cigarettes rolled up in a T-shirt next to my greasy hair. I wore both a uniform and flowers during my 20's and changed from RocknRoll to hard rock. I changed with the times through the 80's, 90's, 00's and now I listen to Country!
My suggestion would be to read an old book called "Big Brother" and then review (You can read?) the history of Germany starting about 1938. Then come back to us with a rephrased question. Our answers will probably much more supportive. ThanksLike (4)

Hahahaha! Oh, man, thanks for the laugh.
Gotta love these "New Age"s. Not even a year old, and already thinks they have all the answers...
See, the sad part...? You've bought it. You were offered FEAR and HOPE. If you wanted to believe everything was coming to an end, you bought fear. If you wanted to believe that everything was going to change for the better, you bought hope.
Regardless of what you believed, YOU BOUGHT WHAT YOU WERE SOLD by "the lovely folks of old", who laughed all the way to the bank.
Classic case of the optimist and the pessimist. Optimist sees the glass half full, the pessimist sees the glass half empty. The REALIST wonders where the ice and the straw is for that drink.
So, here we are, post "apocalypse". The pessimists are disappointed. The optimists are all smug, thinking, YEAH, OUR TIME HAS COME.
Now, let me give you the THIRD option. The REALISTIC ONE.
It is the dawn of a new age. Absolutely. But while you are thinking its an age of touchy-feelie time of unprecedented cooperation, I would point out that reality is showing a much different picture.
The "lovely folks of old", the ones that have been exploiting their fellow humans for profit and entertainment...? Yeah, pay close attention... they've come into this new age as well. Guess what their song is...?
Everything they've ever done in the past, done in the shadows...? They aren't doing in the shadows anymore. They are just doing what they want, right out in the plain sight of day, and THEY DON'T CARE. They don't care if you know about it or not. If they get too much flak for it, they just throw money at it and co-opt it for their own purposes, or crush it under complete denial and a machine they've created to spin it to be perceived however they want it to be.
I'm entertained in how you think that those who've gotten a tight grip on this power over other people are just simply going to give it up without a fight, just because the galactic core has slightly moved in the sky.

Either the elites get put down on the same level as the rest of population first or the rest of the population gets moved up to their level first. I have my own ideas and thoughts about this but the only way to make something big like that to work is to combine what the entire population knows to make a sound plan that would actually work with the entire population. Too many people are unprepared for this but all must evolve eventually at some point and when they are ready, everyone else will be.Like (1)

I'm confused. It sounds like you are preaching cosmic communism-- everyone gets equal share. I don't see that... show me ONE example in nature where that occurs. And I like the "all must evolve eventually at some point" line... but it completely flies in the face of the first rule of evolving. Evolution is a natural selection-- the survival of the fittest. All must not evolve. Only those who adapt do. The rest die off.Like (1)
