>tooth scrathed by dentist?

I'm having a root canal which has taken 2 appointments. I will evevtually be having a crown fitted next week, this is after 1 month of being diagnoised. After the first session i noticed a small scratch at the back of my tooth, after today the second session the scratch is considerbly deeper. i am worried that the damage could get worse and i could lose my tooth. is this possible?welcome=t1
