I don't believe that was an issue when the respective holy books for each major religion were written. The grey area between homosexuality or not is where it resides and to be honest, I have been wondering this as well. If God is infallible, as the Bible, for example, says then changing your gender would mean that God is fallible, because you are essentially stating that God has made a mistake. So on those grounds, it may be a sin. On the other hand, if you totally change your gender, you are no longer a member of said gender, thus, dating the gender you were would count as heterosexual, as you as now a member of the opposite gender.

But don't you see, God said that people who sleep with the same sex is a sin, but he didnt say people who change their sex, God is a miracle maker, and being Transgender is a mental illness that is called "Gender Dysphoria" and God specifically said, "Every kind of sickness has a cure to it" in the Holy Books. So being Transgender is a mental illness that can be cured this way =D Good conclusion? and here watch this.. there are english subs just click on the cc button if u already know.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GACLe7GXuNQ

But if you change your sex, you aren't a member of said sex anymore, which is where my reasoning was leading.
