Transgender in religion? (Islam and such)

I don't believe that was an issue when the respective holy books for each major religion were written. The grey area between homosexuality or not is where it resides and to be honest, I have been wondering this as well. If God is infallible, as the Bible, for example, says then changing your gender would mean that God is fallible, because you are essentially stating that God has made a mistake. So on those grounds, it may be a sin. On the other hand, if you totally change your gender, you are no longer a member of said gender, thus, dating the gender you were would count as heterosexual, as you as now a member of the opposite gender.

But if you change your sex, you aren't a member of said sex anymore, which is where my reasoning was leading.Like (1)

That would make veils even more confusing than they are now.
