    Yes, true. I think it's because when you're looking for someone, you come across more desperate, which people can sense and it turns them off. When you're not looking, and you find someone, there's no pressure. I believe people can tell when someone else is on the prowl. It works for both men and women. They can sense your desperation.

    I believe it is true because when you are looking for someone, you don't really get to know them and accept them the way they really are, you're also trying to impress them, and may act differently than you usually would. I believe that good relationships start out as friends and gradually become more. That way you really get to know a person.
