Get him a present, some great smelling shower soap, take him to the shower, shower together, use it on yourself and him and tell me how much better it will be, this way and he now smells so much better!
With positiveness, I doubt if he will complain, only use positiveness, teach him cleanliness and sex go together and if he likes the sex, then he needs to be clean and good smelling.
Most guys don't mind suggestions, unless you are bitchen all the time with complaints and negativeness with no suggestions and help. I suggest you find the bath lotion you like and smells good for you, how is he suppose to know what you like anyway, without your help or communication.
