Using them to moniter our borders is fine. Using them for law enforcement on the public is so Big Brother. But, I guess we'd better get used to losing our personal freedoms under the guise of protecting the masses.

Arrrggghh! Stupid OCD saying "don't hit delete" over and over! Answer lost forever. Yarng! Sorry, Ernie. I think it had something to do with acorns and slingshots, which sounds pretty awesome to me.

They use them already to enforce agriculture violations and cattle raising to enforce EPA standards. I often wonder when arms dealers will start finding buyers of stingers missiles on the family farms and ranches.

They don't need drones to watch you....don't you have nieghbors or a pesky HOA. Seriously, who are going to find to check all that footage to see what I'm doing. There are millions of us and too much land. If they did replace the police helicopters though that might be nice because they are loud. If you're really worried about surveillance, you should stay off the phone and internet.

If we are willing to subject others to this kind of surveillance, we must also be willing to undergo it ourselves.

I don't like it. Honestly, 9/11 took away so many privacy rights in the US and elsewhere.

Perhaps I should say our fears prompted us to give those rights away.

actually not, They are much cheaper than police helicopters. A police helicopter an cost 500, 000 to 3 million, but a drone somewhere between 20,000 to 30,000 dollars and cheaper maintenance too compared to helicopters.

Ah, I must have been thinking of military quality, in the millions each. At least they're quieter than helicopters and don't shake the house when they go overhead.
