If there's one thing the religious sorts of people all have in common, it's their murderous hatred of anyone not of their own particular religion.

If there were two things they had in common, it would be their claim to love all people.

People regretable use religion to strengthen their opinion or cause when they have run out of convincing arguments.

Because there are so many religious hypocrites out there. It's one thing to say, "i love the Lord," and then show the opposite side of that statement to others. God doesnt care about what you say, He is interested in how you act. The actions that one shows, speaks even more highly than the words they speak.

Ok!.....I will agree with that statement!!....For a change!!

Because religion is personal. For some their concept and relationship with their beliefs are so "tightly intertwined" with who they are and what they will and will not do, that it tolerates no offense. Their faith is their foundation, if you destroy that then what do they have? When you attack their beliefs it is like a personal attack on them.

But if one really has faith, the words of another can't touch them. Because they have no problem letting you believe what you will. And inside they should be laughing... because we are all spiritual children, seeking to understand our true purpose in the universe. Case in point... why ask this question?

We will all find our truth in our own way... in our own time.

Maybe you asked a question that they could not answer ,so now they got to kill you to save face.
Many hate those that question their faith as they are afraid that they may be wrong about religous beliefs.
But how unchristian of them.
But maybe they want to kill you so you can see if there is life after death

I have to admit, I am curious to what your question was...
In my own experience, if a person with "misplaced enthusiasm" can't answer a question, it sometimes causes them to look at themselves or causes fear because they don't have an answer. Where is their faith then? Can be a scary thing for some.
I have never understood why people just can't say "I don't know"?
