Resolved Question

Unlike my last guitar question, this is legitimate. What song should I learn?

Preferably a classic rock song. Say, in the realm of Led Zeppelin, or Cream. Suggest several if you would please, as I may already know your first suggestion. Thanks for the input everyone.

Edit: I'm trying to find the Van Morrison tune, but I already know "Heartbreaker" and "Immigrant Song". But, thanks, and keep 'em coming. Difficulty is not an issue.

I know it's not a 'rock' song but Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel is a really good test of your guitar skills

check this out to see how it can be done in a really cool way...

How about "After Midnight" by J. J. Cale. That's a classic.

Most of the classic rock groups (and Clapton in particular) got their inspiration from the blues legends. The modern electric guitar sound goes back to T-Bone Walker so why not check out some of his great work.

Communication Breakdown by Led Zeppelin should be pretty easy.

You could always try Layla.
