Neither. 90% of the conflicts in the world today seem to me to be driven by ignorance. Not just on one side but on both. We limit ourselves to a single philosophy, a single interpretation of God, a single moral code. Then we trick ourselves into thinking that everyone outside of the metaphorical cage we have built for ourselves is wrong. That's all we are, just ignorant, pretentious, self-righteous beasts, caged and uncaring of those who think differently than us. And it sickens me.
