There is NO permanent solution.. We have to look at the cause of war - the old nature vs. nurture debate. Whichever side you take it is evident that while there is something to fight over, we will fight. It has been that way since the earliest civilizations.. Socially we have evolved and use other modes of power to attain whatever we are seeking - but violent conflict is the most aggressive way and unfortunately isn't going to stop if one party feels it is necessary.
