    prison labor is also used to make license plates do phone sales make uniforms and many other things that we use or need

    wal-mart doesn't sell any of that they are just taking advantage of a captive workforce which is not fair competition like the republicans always claim

    Walmart the high cost of low prices. one of the most profitable companies in the world is also extremely dirty. Is that really any surprise. My boycott has been going on for years.

    it was a contractor wal-mart hired to make prison inmates pick melons. as soon as the news got out, wal-mart took steps to save face it was a year ago or two

    if you use prison labor to grow veggies for you at 5 cents an hour, how's that really different than slavery??

    Because we aren't capturing these people and forcing them to work for us for no reason. They are in there for a reason and should be working for very little money just to pay back all the money we tax payers pay every day to house them. Don't get me wrong I don't agree with a lot of the justice/prison system, but all the money we pay to keep them there...damn right I think they should work hard without earning much for themselves.
