Was Jesus Christ was really black?

He was Jewish looking, so dark or olive skin, tall, but not very good looking from what the Bible says of him.

Comprehensive2	Posted Oct 24th, 2009 at 12:09AM To my knowledge only some of those with pure African ancestry have "black" skin. In Book of Revelations He is described as having skin of bronze and hair of wool. He was also a Middle Eastern Jewish man. All these things were changed when the truth of it would not gain much following. False representation is the curse of mankind brought on by the need to compel and control. Rated: +1Vote for this!

msbullfrog2006	Posted Oct 24th, 2009 at 1:30AM I really don't see how the color of his skin matters. As far as I am concerned we all came from one man, Adam. And frankly, I am not really concerned with what color he was either. I really wish color was not such a big deal. How can someone be judged by something they have absolutely no control over? BTW. wanderinginreeds	Posted Oct 24th, 2009 at 3:20AM I've never understood how the physical attributes of Jesus or any other messianical figure for that matter, were ever relevant to their teachings in any way. The only way it makes sense is if a person looks at the world from a rather childish perspective where they consider some arbitrary resemblance of themselves to the person to be somehow signifigant.
