I'm presuming your American? I don't understand why anyone who dares suggest there may be a better way of doing things or who asks you to reevaluate your views on life is automatically deemed to be a communist

Best Answer

I'm just wondering. Communism is a dead letter nowadays anyway.

Hi from some one outside the states. .. It's not so prevalent these days but it seemed for a long time that to question the consensus on American values was to become a communist. ... Who cares if he was or wasn't. Imagine may be the best song ever.

Best Answer

Imagine is one of my all time favorite songs. It brings up several issues where we simply accept things rather than embrace or reject them rationally.

Lennon wasn't a communist he was an opportunistic wife-beater. He was overrated, took credit for Paul, was mediocre at best on guitar and his lyrics were over-hyped because he was John Lennon. He talked down to celebrities doing it out of the money but that didn't stop him from using his fame to gain special consideration from just about everyone. So hypocrite too.
