Bush the first was a combat pilot in WWII. Bush the second was National Guard Pilot, no combat experience.

Bush Jr was in the national guard but i do not think he saw any action. His father on the other hand served in ww2 and flew i think 58 missions and was shot down at least one time.

mind you i just mentioned most recent. many prior to those served but none after bush sr besides his son who was in reserves.

George Bush Jr did propaganda shots on aircraft carriers wearing fighter pilot jumpsuits. That counts....to republicans i guess
