Was this kind of rude or was he trying to be funny?
One day this guy I was involved with played a joke on me and other people by text. Afterwards when I called him I said how I kind of didn't get the joke and he said: 'Oh my God. Next time I might have to think about who I send my jokes to. When someone's with me, they have to have a big sense of humour. Don't worry, we'll work on it'. That offended me a little bit so I said to him that just because I didn't get his joke it doesn't mean I don't have a sense of humour, and then he mimicked what I said in a high pitched voice in a kind of mocking way, but then afterwards said he was joking and said I was funny.
In another conversation, he was telling me that his parents have been together since about 2000 (he has a stepmum) and afterwards I was telling him how long my parents have been together, so I was about to say '1989' and then he interrupted me saying '1950', then said 'You were saying they've been together since 19 .. whatever it was'. Does this sound a bit rude?
