Don't think he likes it. More important for you is to know why they hang around.

More info is needed, but I would say yes. I believe you have children from some of your other questions. If they are still young enough, he will be involved in their lives and in that way he will still be involved with you too, at least until they are all adults.
Of course I'm not saying that you have to cater to him, don't get me wrong. It's just that you don't (or shouldn't) want to willingly make things more difficult for your children and yourself than they already will be due to the divorce.
I was married over 16 yrs, divorced almost 7 yrs now and our three wonderful children are currently 16, 13 & 11 yrs old.Like (1)
