Love should be sold in a can!
My sister was faced with this choice. Gave up her business, moved in with the guy, and months later was leaving him, having nowhere to live, no business, and no local contacts.
His dog, his insane love for his dog, his life revolving around his dog, and his controlling manner. He had seemed very low key. He was very quiet, hated noise. But it turned out he had a very quiet way of being very domineering.
Wow. I dont think I could do it for anybody. Too much upheaval.
if you are happy in your current situation why would you change, if it does not work out you will need a new place to live, a new job and all of your dreams shattered
I'd be wary of giving up my independence and becoming a dependent. A lot could change with that shift, and not least if you're not married
Marriage is no guarantee of success either!
Flowerchild, That wasn't my point. Marriage protects interests. Without it this poster if the relationship went south would be left homeless, assetless
Why not marry too? To give up everything is a huge risk. Fingers crossed it would work, but dependency changes people too.
