I find naivete to be my best feature - it doesn't let me be consumed by the world outside. This means, yes, I was :)

Oh God yes! I thought I was so in love with my girl's dad, and if I didn't have him my whole world would end right then and there. Don't all teen girls think that these days? Only this was 24 years ago for me...for girls now it's much worse. And he made me crazy and suicidal then. He was four years older than me, and I was in a sexual relationship with him - I had no business being in an adult relationship with this man who was still a boy when I was still so naive to the ways of the world. And then to bring two children into it when I was still just a child myself - what was I thinking?

Yes, naive, too trusting, always believing the best in everyone. I'm still that way.

I went through a lot of pain watching my mom die slowly during my teen years. I acted out horribly and did really stupid things. I thought I was wise and experienced but I was SO naive about the workings of the world I would believe anything. Especially if it was a guy and I was falling for every stupid line out there.

Wish I could have been, but no I wasn't. I had to grow up fast with a rape, an abusive father, and at 16, the death of my high school sweetheart. Too much going on to remain naive about anything.

No, I wasn't trusting enough even then to be considered naive. I would call myself, inexperienced and not very outgoing.

Not really living through all of my mom's abusive relationships kinda spoiled childhood for me.
