On the serious side, my father by his example taught me love of country. He was at Pearl Harbor that Sunday morning in paridise. He's been gone twelve years and I still weep on his grave. He wasn't just a father or ***** doner, he was a real "daddy". It wasn't until a few years after his death that mom told me he hated that I had married the navy. Nevertheless, I remember the look of pride in his eyes every time I came home. I did 25 years, my younger brother did 30. Every year in the summer we sit around his grave and kill a bottle of Black Label.
