What about people who presume to speak for your race or subculture without regard for individuality?

It seems like some people like to grab a bullhorn, proclaim some inane protest, and presume that everyone else in their group, be it a race, subculture, religion, or sexual preference has to agree with their tactics. What do you think?

i can't stand it. a lot of times it makes everyone look bad when it is just a few pushing their own perspective, agendas or ideals, ruining potential harmony...
for example: all Hindus hate Muslims. there are just as many Muslims as there are Hindus in most parts of India. how could that be happening if all Hindus hate Muslims. srsly folks....

I am leary of anyone who claims to speak for everyone.

generalizations are there for a reason, but one should keep individuality in mind either way
