Packing up the dreams God planted
In the fertile soil of you
I can't believe the hopes He's granted
Means a chapter of your life is through

But we'll keep you close as always
It won't even seem you've gone
'Cause our hearts in big and small ways
Will keep the love that keeps us strong

And friends are friends forever
If the Lord's the Lord of them
And a friend will not say never
'Cause the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends

And with the faith and love God's given
Springing from the hope we know
We will pray the joy you live in
Is the strength that now you show

We'll keep you close as always
It won't even seem you've gone
'Cause our hearts in big and small ways
Will keep the love that keeps us strong

And friends are friends forever
If the Lord's the Lord of them
And a friend will not say never
'Cause the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends

And friends are friends forever
If the Lord's the Lord of them
And a friend will not say never
'Cause the welcome will not end
Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends

To live as friends

Though it's hard to let you go
In the Father's hands we know
That a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends

No a lifetime's not too long
To live as friends

Let's see: lies, cheating, manipulation, abuse, violence, alcoholism, drug addiction, slutty tendencies(see nonselective nymphomania and STDs in your local encyclopedia), absence when needed - those are all I could up with on a local dime.

When they lie about stupid **** to make themselves feel special. IE: birth place, the popular ‘my eyes change color with my mood!’, and lying about your heritage.

That, and if someone dates an ex of mine. All of my ex’s were pretty ****** people, and some I still care for. Some of my friends have dated them, and I refuse to talk to those ‘friends’ ever again.

trust number 1, almost anything else is forgivable. No trust no relationship.

Lack of trust. Excessive neediness. Excessive criticism. Or excessive use of her iPhone around me.

If they are deadbeats who try to get money out of me
repeatedly. Once is o.k. but that is enough.

I will forgive nearly anything once, but any form of dishonesty a second time is the end.

Oh, and ignorance, but I usually can figure that one out before we get to the friendship phase.

Lying is bad enough.

Betrayal is grounds for fearing for your life in my presence!

Lying, being a false friend, not understanding the person and actually when it comes to internet friends its when you tell them you don't trust them...wow I've had a lot of people be insulted by that remark. I don't see why though...like why should I trust someone I never really met and only met on the web?

Lack of honesty and respect. Without those things, a friendship can't form in the first place.

Talking about me behind my back, taking me for granted, stalking me...those are all deal breakers.
