    there are good majors in probation and parole or community policing or corrections

    if you're truly planning to go after law school then a degree in philosophy will help much more than poli-sci, history, and other humanity major. if people tell you otherwise, ask them what's on the LSAT. i did a minor in philosophy and it has helped me in life and on the MCAT.

    You can always look at job hand-books. Most importantly
    I think you should look for a major you can apply to the real
    world today. I would hate for you to waste your time and money.
    :( It really depends on what you like to do in the future...

    You can even get an interdiciplinary... degree
