What are good ways to go dieting?

Clean out your fridge/pantry. All junk food goes to the garbage, or give it to the homeless man at the end of the street. Snack on fruits and vegetables and eat 5-6 meals a day with enough 30% of your daily intake being protein...you'll do just fine. Also do exercise...walking, swimming especially :)

I think the attitude of "dieting" is wrong. When someone decides to "diet", they feel deprived and this makes food such a big focus. Instead think about eating healthy foods, well balanced meals, include all the food groups. And don't deprive yourself, if you want a dessert or something you know isn't the best for you, have some, but just a small amount and just every so often, not everyday! Remember to drink water too and cut back on the sodas!
And don't forget about exercising too.... ya I know, it's a pain, but it's necessary if you want to really get into shape and shed a few pounds. Go walk or ride a bike, whatever gets ya moving a few times a week.

Eat healthy. Dont eat sugar. Dont eat MSG.

Exercize that produces muscle mass will eat your fat.
