Petfinders.com is an excellent site. I quickly found a home for my 13 year old cat when I couldn't take him with me.

No kill shelters...but read the fine print..too often the name can be misleading.

usually a humane society...however it depends on which animal it is....there are alot of rescue orgs out there, just search the net.
Not all humane societies but some with room, look for NO KILL SHELTER.

As far as I know ther is no such place. Even the ones that say they don't do it will send pets to the ones that do kill them when they have no more room for them.

So even if they don't do it themselves they will send them to the places that do.

I am very glad to hear that ! But around my area, As you mentioned, (not every where is like yours) I am just outside of Philadelphia. There are thousands of strays and they just cannot keep and feed all of them.

Thankyou for sharing this. I have heard of progams like this. If your daughter has a website I would like to view it. Also if their is some way I could share it on Face book I will, even if I have to copy and paste. A nice pic to go with it would be great , and maby i can do that, Im just not realy good at that. The point is that word needs to be spread that help is out there.
