Drive or ride with expired tags....and pay attention to when they expire. I was stupid and was off an entire month. I was pulled over on my motorcycle. A simple 2 hour meeting at 5AM turned into an impounded bike, cops leaving me alone on the side of the freeway to call my husband for a ride home, a ticket, a missed day at work and $900. I had to inspect, register, and pay all impound and fees before they would let me take it. Fffuuuhhhh.
