Get a job and don't expect her to be your mama.
Here's the thing.... noone has to live with anyone. There are choices, parents' house, homeless shelter, your own apartment, a tent out in the back 40. If a man is going to live with a woman, he needs to a) have a job, maybe 2, b) not expect her to be his mama and c) be prepared to take care of her when she is sick, pregnant, or disabled.
This applies to ALL men not just 19 year-olds. When the going gets rough, and it will, she needs to know that you will be there and are man enough to handle the situation. Only you know if you ARE man enough. Temporary unemployment is one thing, living of her or the government teat is unacceptable. It may seem slick but it destroys your self respect.
A true man is a provider, a protector, and with patience, wisdom and experience, a mentor to the next generation.

The type of advice should depend on the reasoning for moving in with the more mature woman. What exactly is his dilema?
