    practice. the cerebral cortex of your brain gets thicker the more you use it. A big reason why older people like to do crossword puzzles is because it keeps their brains active and helps keep Alzheimer's from developing.

    I think there's vitamins you can take (not sure how well they work though). Ginko baloba maybe?
