Virtually everything I used today, everything I ate, the fuel I used, the medicines I took, the clothes I am wearing, the tools I used, everything was produced and delivered by industry. I am grateful.

what about the polution, sickness, war, and loneliness it brought to us? of course everyone is greatfull for the good things.

I am unaware of pollution, sickness, war and loneliness attributable to industry. I am old enough to remember chimneys belching out smoke and worse and streams brilliantly colored with chemical pollution. I don't see that anymore. The earth is much, much cleaner than it was thirty years ago.

If you don't know, go try to live in a hut in the wilderness with no steel or iron and counting on a bone knife to get to dinner. No needles other than bone to make your clothes, assuming you can sew.......
