Not getting in a twist over little things as much. Being content more often, and with less. Being more patient.

Your perspective on life improves dramatically. Now, you have time. When you're younger than 50, you never have time, everything is rushed. When you are young, only young people look beautiful. Over 50, all ages look beautiful. Under 50, sex is time framed, even on a holiday or a dirty weekend. Over 50, sex is relaxed and you can both be completely uninhibited. Under 50, people take offense at some compliments or things I say. Over 50, they smile, say thankyou and have a chat. Over 50, I will stop whatever I am doing to have a coffee and a chat with a friend. Under 50, I tell them that we should get together soon (and rarely do). I am very pleased to be over 50 and love every minute of every day. I am not going to die until I have got back in my Pension at least twice what I have paid in Tax.

    You get smarter...make less mistakes.
Things you used to work hard at come easily now.
No longer self-conscious and worried about other people's opinions.
You get to enjoy the life you created for yourself.

No sure there are any bits of you hurt your eye sight and hearing go. On a plus you loose some of your morals so something you would never have done 5 years ago is now something you are happy to do.

We chuck the ego out the window. We tend to state what we think just as we think it. We quit wanting to be part of the crowd and learn to be content with who we are and could care less if you like us or not. And we know the name's of more doctor's then friend's. : )

    1. You don't take everything so goddamned seriously anymore.
    2. Sex gets better, although it can be more infrequent.
    3. You gain new levels of appreciation for family and relationships, and you don't have to be the center of the universe at all times.

for god loved the world so much, he gave his only son?? or something like that, I know...but the question isn't about where do you go after death, it is what is good about getting older....and you are not going to heaven, you go in to a time of waiting, then come back an inherit the Earth. you know, after all the fuss is over...
