My big sister, since my mum died 10 years ago she's my only close family. My big sister is also the only person left that has been in my life since the day I was born

for bringing in my life people who care,even from a distance..

I am beyond thankful for the fact that I wake up every morning and it doesn't matter that I have troubles because I am HERE. I have a terminal illness and plenty of physical limitations and I am striving to be around for at least another 20 years.

To be here & experience all this, good or bad.
To be somewhat healthy.
To have a great family
& amazing friends.
To have the most wonderful boyfriend
& the chance for everything to only get better!

Oh & that i come from an area & family with many opportunities. Good schooling, getting a car, saving money, internet, good food, good home etc.

For the fact that I was born in this time period in a developed country to middle class parents who didn't abuse me. I'm not just saying that I do often think about it and am thankful.

My kids... for the unconditional love that they give to me. For the challenge they present to me to be a better father, better man, and better citizen of the world EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! They are my legacy to the future, the only thing that I will leave behind when I am dead and gone that will have any meaningful impact for generations to come. For this blessing I am truly grateful every day!

My good health. Good health is the most unappreciated facet of life for many people. It's not until you get really really sick, that you realise how good it is to be healthy.
I have rarely been sick, but I got glandular fever about 20 years ago, and it absolutely floored me. I laid in bed for 3 weeks, barely able to move. It felt like I'd done 25 rounds with a heavyweight boxing champion every night, I ached so much. Every muscle and bone in my body hurt, and no matter how many painkillers I took, it wouldn't go away. The docs said they couldn't do anything for it, because there is way to treat it, and it just has to run its course. I recovered O.K. after that 3 weeks, with a lot of love and care from a partner, who massaged me every day.
I was so sick and sore, I would have given every single cent I owned to be instantly well again. Ever since that time, I have never taken good health for granted, and I relish the good health I have enjoyed, since.

My mom because i love her so much and she loves me and we are also very close too and if she wasn't here my life would have been even harder without her and i'm glad that i do have her.

The time I spent with the love of my life. I miss her everyday and the only thing that lifts me up is remembering all of the times we shared together.

My health, my family, my friends, my job.

Love and loyalty.

That is all that matters.
