I will speak for everyone here if i may. It is horrible what happened and i dont think anyone in the world liked it. I pray for all those involved that God puts peace in there hearts. I am very sad for these people. Hare Krishna

My son was much older than those children when I lost him. But I could not keep from crying during the day as I thought of those parents coming home alone and opening the door to Christmas tree and presents and....... I know what will wash over them then. I know the grief that knocks you to the floor and you lay there and cannot move tears flowing out of your body and until there are none left and still you cry unable to get up and think or feel. I know what awaited the parents and I hurt for them.

I cannot imagine what the parents of those murdered children are going through. It is unspeakable and unfair. I'm sorry that no one seemed to be able to sense that the young man who did this needed help, I'm sorry that guns are so readily available in the US.

Another lost opportunity to seek understanding, blinded by anger. Newtown is my town of highschool graduation. My mother also worked in the middle school there. I have friends with siblings and children at that elementary school. We have let a member of our community slip through the cracks, swept under the rug because people don't give two ***** about compassionate care for the mentally ill. This will happen again, and again, and again, and again.

I'm really depressed about this. It seems like I can't talk about it with people. They just kind of blow it off. My ex-boyfriend is basically posting stuff and saying, "the world was always this dangerous; you just didn't notice it." I'm sorry, but when I went to school, I never, EVER worried about being shot. Never. And it seems like these shootings are happening more and more frequently. I'm just really sad about it. And I don't even have kids. I'm terrified, frankly.
