I play a lot of video games and find that it's a great way to unwind, de-stress and escape from reality for a short time. To escape to a world where I can drive without regard to my safety, or experience a battle field without getting hurt.

A sense of accomplishment, escapism and the feeling of being in total control are the allure for me.

I enjoy a good romp through the old West playing Red Dead Revolver every once in awhile, but I really spend little time in front of my PS3 unless I'm watching Netflix. My son, on the other hand, is fully trained in combat in at least three different eras and several planets, and I'm guessing he's drawn to playing them because he enjoys them.

i think its a way to relax, it also a way to challenge yourself, and it just feels good to get the achievements and hear that song it just makes me happy. lol
