What both amazes and inspires you?

Thanks for all your answers, many of which were so touching, but the answer I have picked, I picked because it included, indirectly, everything that has been said. What an amazing, magical, world we live in!

To keep this short - think of Humanity - where we came from. The apes. The primitive mammals. The lizards. The amphibians. The fish. The micro organisms. The amino acids. The Chemicals. The dying star. The cloud of sub-atomic particles. The big bang.

Think of where we are now. This chair I'm sitting on. This room. This house. This street. This city. This country. This continent. This world. This solar system. This galaxy. This universe.

It's a truly amazing world, when we take the time to remember it :)
