The trick is to keep yourself busy. When your mind is occupied, there isn't time for all the sad stuff to bring you down. Surround yourself with happy people as well because the people around you also affects your mood. Take care of yourself, love your body. Exercise is healthy and it's great. If anything, just go to a friend who you trust and share what's on your mind, sometimes you just need to express yourself and you'll feel alright.
