What can you scent your house with that doesnt smother?

My son ,who is 13, found online where you take a spray bottle fill it like 2/3 water than add liquid fabric softner and you can use it like febreeze. Works great, doesn't stain. But you should probaly test it first. With the new scents of fabric softners out there you can personalize your scent---I like vanilla lavender! It's also cheaper than febreeze.

"Cucumber green tea" is a very mild, very pleasant scent. It's my favorite at the moment.

fabreze mist and fresh cotton fresh smells lovley like you have just washed your clothes it really does get rid of odours!

I make my own incense so the smell is not so intense.

try fresh lavender crushed into a bolw or if you cant find that you can get essential oils from just about anywhere. they will come in all scents. just put bout 5 drops of the oil into a bowl of water in a room and it leaves it smelling lovely. or try the idea with the spray bottle of water but put the oil into that instead. oil burners are quite nice too. you place the essential oil into the holder on the top and light a plain tea light under it and the heat releases the scent into the room. although you dont even need the candle to release the scent but it does help. i used a mixture of baby oil and lavender oil to help heal my new belly peircing and every time i open the contaner holding the mixture the whole room smells of lavender.

I saw this on the TV, Vodka+lemon juice+water. Dont know the measurements exactly but i'd say it smells nice.
