Honokiol which is found in some over-the-counter diet supplements is chemically very similar to valium. Also valerian root is also very good at relieving anxiety and has less side effects than St. John's wort.

there's also ativan and klonopin available. these are similar to xanax but somewhat less addictive. they are still presc<x>ription medications and are not exactly natural..

Firstly if your going to quit (not sure if you are using) then taper off slowly, withdrawals from cold turkey can be nasty. Valerian root extract can work as a mild anxyliotic (reduce anxiety, ease insomnia), and is actually the godfather of all benzodiazepines (xan, valium, clonezapam etc...) chemically speaking. Also daily exercise can really mimic xanax's effects, inducing euphoria, easing sleep, plus is 1000x better for you. Whilst xanax can be useful in some cases, it really should be a last resort due to it's addictive and potentially mind-melting properties! Cannabis can also be used, however like with all drugs, must be used responsibly, and perhaps even with medical consultation first! Peace
