What can you tell me about intercessory prayer and prayer warriors?

I believe in prayer, but that's just my thing and I don't shove any kind of belief system down anybody's throat. It doesn't bother me a bit of other people don't believe in it. It has such a "religious" conotation, sometimes it can just be energy that you put out.

Your individual experience is outweighed by the many mass studies that show no measurable effect from prayer.

I think I'm with FredTrellis on this - WHO said the prayers wasn't specified and as spiritual as I like to think I am I worship Truth and the truth I heard from a study done on prayer's effect on recuperating patients done by The Templeton Foundation is, to my disappointment, that it had no effect. I think prayer can help the pray-er, though, by making them feel better so go for it prayer warrior!
Sometimes one hears of healing done by "laying on of hands" but IF that's true I say it has a physical basis that arises from spiritual belief. Best wishes.
