    It's just a natural response out of some of us. A personality trait. I think quite often people with quick wit have a dry sense of humor and are frequently sarcastic.

    Could be both. But I have been told that I can come up with witty responses in a snap, and sometimes they possess some humor. Its just me, speaking, can't help it.

    I think the 'wit' gene might be linked with the 'douchebag' gene. I am not sure about this.
