Not sure what you mean, would get a dead taste bud from time to time when young, might do now, just don't bother me as much. I would just either cut them out with fine scissors or tie some string around them and get rid of them that way. If they are truly dead they don't bleed.

It's a bacterial infection of the taste bud. Like a cyst, only on your tongue. Salt on the spot makes short work of it.
