What Could Be Going Through His Head?

Last week Friday I moved to a new place that I am in a process of buying. So I borrowed a chair from my next door new neighbours to clean the walls and put up the curtains. When I returned the chair, a guy neighbour came to fetch it and he smiled when he saw me. On Sunday, I borrowed the chair again. Thereafter, he came to my door and we had a chat. He asked if there was anything he could do to help. Later he insisted to assist me put up the curtains in th lounge and then the unpacking, he left at 11pm! It really felt good. I really think he is so sexy. I think I have huge crush on him. Now the sad thing is that he has not come to my flat since that night. It's just hallo when we see each other. It's killing me!

Well, it's obvious. He helped you with all that and you failed to have sex with him as a reward. He probably thinks you're gay, in a relationship, or a prude.

I'm joking. There are a thousand small things that you could fabricate a reason to talk to him again. Do it. Then make a date with him.

I think men are sometimes shy and sort of clueless when a woman is interested. My boyfriend was SO oblivious to my flirting at first, I had to "hit him over the head" with it before he understood that I liked him.

If I were you I'd ask one of the other neighbors if he's single, and if he is... come right out and tell him you need a date for some event and ask if he'd like to go!

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

Ask him over for coffee or tea or a snack.

yeah maybe he feels like he made his gesture and is waiting for you to show some interest and figures if you don't that you must not be interested. ask him if he'd like to do something sometime and if he acts uninterested maybe he has other things going on but if you make it sound casual it won't be awkward even if that is the case :) good luck

He might not be available for a relationship.

He might not know if you are available for a relationship.

I agree w/ Vexed. I myself own a dyslexic heart, I never know when I a women is interested or not. I do need to be "hit over the head".

Make a point to ask him for a coffee.

Guys are clueless when it comes to women. But they will always be glad to help people who are in need. So make up something to him that your toaster broke and needs fixing. It will be natural for him to come over and fix it. Then ask him if his single and wants to grab a coffee afterwards. Who knows a date might arise from all this.

Drop him a thank you card with your number inside "just incase he ever needs anything" and perhaps an invite to something non date like such as pizza so you can "properly thank him".

he probably just thinks you're a neighbor. i would say don't worry about him. be friendly but not too insane. if anything ask him to help you hang something out of reach or lift something that is too heavy. then casually ask him if you can repay him with some coffee or something. let HIM take the lead. if he doesn't make a move, DO NOT ASK HIM ON A DATE OR TELL HIM YOU ARE INTERESTED!!!! if he's not into you it will SUCK living near him and you will ALWAYS feel uncomfortable.

TEASE! TEASE! What a tease! Trying to see if you will make the next move. Sounds great, but tricky.... being in the same complex is, well, complex. Be sure that he is something that looks good, since someone will have to end up moving if things turn ugly!

I'd invite him over for brunch....and when you invite him, let him know that it's your way of thanking him for being such a gentleman the other night.

He may be testing to see if you have any manners yourself.

Good luck.

He wants you to pursue him. He mostly likely thinks he made the first move(ex- helping you with the curtains). And when you do ask, make it casual.

It is very simple. You like him. When you next see him, say, hi, I was wondering if you wanted to come up for a drink tonight? Or, hi, how about lets go to the movie together tonight. All he can say is no. It's up to you. He might even be waiting for you to make the next move (noi pun intended.)

Invite him for a meal as a "thank you" for helping you out, then drop some hints. No point in trying to work out what is going through his head - we are almost always wrong anyway, and at least this way you will know for sure!
