What did *you* do today to improve someone else's day?

I brought pastries in to the office this morning - and none that I like.

gave my bus ticket away so someone else cud travel for free for rest of the day

i have taken over some bill paying responsibilities for someone who is way behind and can't afford to lose her job

none of the other losers in this office even offered to take just one bill. srsly.

Congragulated a stranger on her exam results.

I went onto the Greater Good Network and clicked on all of their sites that help out various charities . The Animal Rescue Site, Rainforest Site,Literacy Site, Breast Cancer Site and the Child Health Site all benefit in some way with just a click.

I listened and hugged my colleague who was having an emotional meltdown.. sent him home and I taught his last class..

told her i love her and she is all my dreams come true...

offered to run an errand for someone who was stressed about time constraints.

Yes, I let my husband cook lunch, he deserves an edible meal every now and then!

not a damn thing... ive been alone all day besides my month old daughter & the only thing i gotta do 2 make her happy is feed her, change her, & play her music

Made a pot of coffe for my boss, NOT because I'm a woman and he's my boss. rather because I know he loves to walk in to the office and find a fresh pot of coffee waiting for him.
It's not to score points either. I just happen to like my boss. its a giving thing.

I told my therapist something he didn't know about me which made him sit on the edge of his seat for the rest of the time.

I made his day a very good one. :)

I tried to get away from someones life. Hope it helps them.

Allowed my little kid to win against me in the chess game. More than him, it made me happy.

I pet my cat. He seemed pretty happy about it.

Grrrr...my kids dad needed to borrow my car because he has to attend his dad's wake service and he does not have a car so I had to let him because of an obligation. As soon as he drops me off at school though he texts me some crazy s**t about my mom and I talking about him recently when I havn't said no more then 10 words to my mother in 2 days, now I am pissed off because he won't shut up about it and he is just wanting to communicate with me on any level. I know his father just died and I am trying to be patient about it. But damn.....some obligation huh?

I served my son breakfast in bed before he went to school.

Let someone vent to me about their home troubles and gave them some ideas on how to approach the problem. Two minds are better than one :-)
