What do i do besides try and stop crying?

i was seeing someone for 3 months and he just dropped off the face of the earth, plans were made, and he hasnt returned any of my calls or emails, and i am left just wondering if ive been dumped....that is so cruel without any explanantion of what happend here, everything was fine the last time we talked.....what do i do? i cannot stop crying....why would someone do that ? i dont get it.............left wondering. this guy is 45 years old and i was thinking no way would someone act like a highschool jockey that like...he seemed very respectful and thoughtful,,,there were no issues everything was awesome, he seemed so happy to see me again.....i am just left wondering if i should send a nasty email at this point or leave it alone, i know he is not sick or anything like that because i just saw hois friend yesterday in the mall.......i am so so hurt. by the way i really like this site and its good to know that there are still good poeple out there.i just feel so alone and not sure how e

theolosophy	Posted Nov 15th, 2009 at 7:56PM hiya, sorry if i sound like a patronizing cow, but a lot of these posts say "find a new man" or something similar. I doesn't have to be about getting a man or lover, especially if you're still not over this one. Before you do more relationships, try something different, take up a new hobby (I DON'T MEAN KNITTING!) or do something crazy that you've not done before, find out something about yourself and build up your self-esteem that way. Volunteer for a project, take a holiday somewhere weird, learn a language or an instrument, learn dancing, do something people that scares you, just to experience a different kind of rush. But check if his friends know where he is, maybe he's a missing person? Rated: +2Vote for this!

burstin2go	Posted Oct 16th, 2009 at 1:03PM Aww thats a really hard thing to have done to you. Had you found out much about his life, like where he worked or lived? Its possible that he has found someone else, or maybe had someone else all along. It is also possible that he has just chickened out of the whole thing and hasnt got the guts to tell you. Do you have any contact details for his family? There's just a slight chance that he is ill or unable to get in touch, although frankly its a very small possibility. I must admit I have been in the situation of wanting to end a relationship myself, but I have always had the gumption to talk it through with the other person. That way you can smooth the ups and downs of emotion, and usually stay friends too. I hope you are abe to resolve it, for your own peace of mind x x Rated: +1Vote for this!

I'm still wondering, but the more time that passes, the less I cry. You just have to realize that he isn't worthy of your tears. I know, easier said than done, but raise that head high. His behaviour is inexcusable.. As MsAnthropy said, its hard to get closure.. Let it be and move on with your life.. There are some really great guys out there! I mean theres Quagmyre for one.. If I personally were to pull some sort of houdini stunt like that, I'd be doing it to hang out with other girls. Not that I would, of course. :P Anyways, I think you should just move on. It's difficult, but if you don't he'll do nothing but hold you back. Get closure if it's possible, but if not, keep trying to move on without it. Don't worry about setbacks, just bounce back.
