What Do Muslims Believe about Jesus?

Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified. It was the plan of Jesus’ enemies to crucify him, but God saved him and raised him up to Him. And the likeness of Jesus was put over another man. Jesus’ enemies took this man and crucified him, thinking that he was Jesus. God has said:
...They said, “We killed the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of God.” They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but the likeness of him was put on another man (and they killed that man) (Quran, 4:157)

Muslims respect and revere Jesus (peace be upon him). They consider him one of the greatest of God’s messengers to mankind. The Quran confirms his virgin birth, and a chapter of the Quran is entitled ‘Maryam’ (Mary). The Quran describes the birth of Jesus
Jesus was born miraculously by the command of God, the same command that had brought Adam into being with neither a father nor a mother. God has said:

The case of Jesus with God is like the case of Adam. He c

All fiction. Only the Bible tells the truth (in parts) about Jesus and Mother Mary.

Muslims believe in a lot of things about Jesus, only one belief is common with christians, Jesus existed. All the rest is a convoluted mixture of truths and untruths. The Jesus of the Bible and the koran are two different beings. Even if you compare the teachings. In short. Bible teaches one to die for ones beliefs and the koran teaches to kill for ones belief.

thanks for your comment really i appreciate it, but i want to correct something that muslims didn't kill for what they believe in and al islam didn't came by sowrd . muslims just fought for two reasons . 1- if someone will attack and kill them so they will defend themselves , 2- they fought other countries because they have bad king or Governor who torture them . for example roman solider's were torturing people , take high taxes , foce the christians to change their religions , destory their churches and kill them , so al islam came and killed those people and al islam spread because of it's good thoughts not by sword . prophet mohamed told the army while fighting not to kill a child , women or old men. AL ISLAM came from word peace in arabic and peace in arabic means al salam SO HOW can we be terrorist.

It is quite clear in the roman records that they brought Jesus before 'Pontius Pilate' and what was done to him, I'm sure the brutality surpasses what was portrayed in the "passion of Christ" move.

That despite being a prophet, folks can draw cartoons of Jesus all day and Muslims won't riot worldwide.

Clearly Jesus is as important to Muslims as say Lazarus is to Christians. Which is to say, not at all.

Lazarus is one of many biblical mythical figures. No, Muslims hate any drawing of their prophet. Christians at least don't feel the need to defend Christ, and nothing near murderous defending.
