correct. It is the caffeiene. Try quitting drinking coffee for a while. You'll get splitting headaches - withdrawals. Interestingly, if coffee was only invented today, it would not pass fda inspection because of all the negative effects of caffeine.

There is nothing in coffee that is addictive. Nothing is addictive. It is all in how much of it you take. Everything that is taken moderately is non-addictive. When you take to much now your at risk for addictive. Perscription drugs are not to be taken as it says on the bottle. Doses are put on the bottle for recommended doses if you are realy ill but if you feel well a day dont take it. I was always afraid of being addictied to drugs so I told my doctor that I only took it if I needed it and he told me that is the real way to take drugs not just because it says to on the bottle. So enjoy your coffee but dont overdo it.

caffeine. I'm addicted to coffee too dude. And, gotta comment on Velosapian here..there's not actually that many negative aspects of caffeine. It's addictive, yeah, but it doesn't screw you up or anything. If you have some new information that I don't know, feel free to disagree with me. But, what is so negative about it exactly?

Best Answer

Caffeine is wonderful, but commenting on the above comment... too much can be harmful. Try drinking a few cups and then go run...or, if you drink too much caffeine you can develop kidney stones. I am sure that there are a few others. Dont get me wrong. I run five miles, come home and the first thing that I do is make a nice strong pot of German coffee. NICE!
