Resolved Question

What do you collect?

I'm just curious. I asked this same question on another forum I belong to and there were some interesting replies. Myself, I collect weapons and lighthouses..

Dust, moss, a bird's nest or two in my beard, ketchup stains,crumbs...the usual parasitic accoutrements that a sedentary lifestyle attracts..

I collect memories. I love to travel, and like to take in all that there is to offer.

Coins, butterflies, angels, fairies, (I must have something about wings), rocks from every state I have been to (it is cheap and easy to put a small rock in the bottom of my laptop or carry on bag) Pucca dolls (it started when I was in the Philippines and fell in love with these cartoon characters) All the persons I work with around the world heard I loved them and started sending them to me. I literally have 100's of them now. Books, lots of books.

Most of the collections I have started out because of a gift from another person. I didn't really start any of my collections myself. I think it is odd that so many people pick up on my tastes and buy me things for my collection. I am very lucky in this.
