ouch... hell love is too rare to pass up, we're all dying anyway.
What would you do if you're falling for someone who was living?
What would you do if you married someone healthy, and soon after they got sick and died?
What would you do if you married a guy, and then he dies on the honeymoon?
None of us know how much time we really have left. We might have expectations, but none of us KNOW. Why is love any different knowing that the person is sick than it would be if you knew they were healthy?
Happiness is NOT pointless. If you really have a connection, by all means, go for it. You could be the best thing to ever happen to them, and they could be the best thing that ever happened to you. You never know until you try.
be extra nice to them and make th ier last days happy ones?
Love them till their last breath, always and ever more. I loved someone who claimed to be terminal, but they still breathe...with their ex. If you have true, real, mutual love, don't toss it away...please!
wow can't believe i have personal experience with this one. i fell in love with someone who was dying. we might have had a chance had we been nearer, but the endless suffering on top of not being able to do anything for the person ultimately became it's undoing. saddest thing to ever happen to me. i still am haunted by the whole thing.
Better to have loved and lost.........
Everyones dying some of us sooner than others. Just because someones dying don't mean they shouldn't be loved. Times too short already why keep wasting it at least they will know they were truely love at the end!
continue to follow your feelings and embrace every moment while you have it.
The truth is that most people avoid the situation. I know from experience, even though I am not dying. Most people cannot deal with the chronically ill, let alone someone who is terminal. The planet is a very, very sad place!
Just stand by their side :) ..
