What do you do to spread your opinions, instead of imposing them on other people?

I state my case and let it rest. If I feel the other person is open to my perspective, I will discuss it further, but I find that the more people insist that they are "open minded," the less likely they are to actually THINK about anything.

I don't feel the need to spread them. If someone asks, I will answer. Otherwise, I keep my mouth shut. If you go around telling everyone what you think of everything, that is a good way to put people off.

I met a very wise man one day and he told me, a man who listens learns delingently while one who opens his mouth and talk will show his ignorance through his opinions.

I actually sort of enjoy imposing my opinions on others, to be honest, and feel that it can be constructive, as long as you don't have wishy-washy people around you constantly.
Putting people off, you say? Well, I enjoy that too. I like keeping people on their toes, never sure, always guessing...and more importantly...THINKING. If you're too scared to share what you believe without being prompted, what's the point of having a conversation at all? It's just going to be fake.
