I used to get very frustrated, but lately I look at things from the opposite side. Was it my fault? Yes. Was it my intention? No. If they had expectations I failed to meet - not my problem. I know I did my best. So no, I don't hate it anymore.

I apologize and feel bad about it for a while, however I will think of what I can do to help that person later. I'm not going to let that person have the last impression of disappointment from me.

It also depends on the situation though. If I disappointed them by not choosing the idiotic choices they wished for me to take, then I'm only going to do the first two things stated. I may consider trying to help them make better choices if possible.

I apologize sincerely and try to make it up to them and to not do it again. It depends however on what I did.

Apologize and give them time, they'll come back around, to their senses. No one is "Perfect".

It depends on WHY I've disappointed them. But I will be honest and compassionate about it.

Make it up to the person - it's also an opportunity (a great one) to show how you manage crises. Don't panic.
